Metabolic Stress and Cancer (MSC)
Our team aims at understanding the importance and the impact of metabolic stress, mainly glycation, in the aggressiveness of cancer cells.
Mitochondrial Adaptation and Cancer (MAC)
Our team aims at deciphering the mechanisms leading to the mitochondrial adaptation in pancreas cancer. We focus our attention to the mitochondrial dynamics and to its functional fitness. Myoferlin was identified as a promising therapeutic target.

Myoferlin protects colon cancer cells from p53-driven apoptosis
Olivier Peulen's group shows that myoferlin protects colon cancer cells from a p53-induced cell death. Multimodal chemotherapy, targeting myoferlin and restoring p53 activity, could be considered as relevant in patients with this cancer.
